which one's don and which one's phil?

Buddy did double tracking harmonies with himself. Sounded very good.
I was always a fan of Buddy and the Everlys, and bought their records in preference to the Beatles.

" its sounds like lennon and mccartney "...lol....other way round matey..:D:D

Don Everly had a great range. Buddy Holly could play the guitar better than the Everly Brothers, but even though he had a very good voice, could not sing like the Everly Brothers, especially in the high register.

@Leroyfis So if Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Fats Domino didn't play rockabilly, what did they play? Honestly, the everly brothers played more of a soft pop thingy while Chuck and Richard played rock. (He mentions Jerry Lee Lewis, who's basicly a white Little richard tha set his pianos on fire)

im glad my parents taught me respect for the good old music like these guys, they're awesome ^^

Paul McCartney and John Lennon learned to sing harmony from listening to these guys. Listen to Don from 1:32 to 1:35. Incredible! The Everly Brothers have a rightful place among the great rockabilly artists from the 50's including Elvis, Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holly, and Jerry Lee Lewis.
