Not all prog needs that. Beardfish does because they make a complete mess with compasses and metre, so it sounds strange the first few times you hear it. But as soon as you get used to it, the whole thing feels natural.

@gabrielkoritzky If you think Beardfish messes with metre, you should listen to Univers Zero. After that experience, Beardfish seems quite simple.

There was a time when I would have the patience to explain to people that even though they don't like a song, that doesn't mean it's a bad song, it's just not to their taste. For example, I can't stand most of Yes albums, but I gotta admit they're pretty amazing, both in construction and in technique.

This time is gone now. Patience doesn't last forever. In face of the current circumstances, all I can tell you is this:
