Marko Roca´s debut on Tomorrow Is Now, Kid! Is a true tribute to this Amsterdam label´s original late 80´s feel and vibe.
The title track "Nachtwacht" is a straight forward old school house organ track (featuring vocals by D_Fine) with an ongoing deep groove, designed to make any dance floor sweat. "Chest Pains" is a dirty, unpolished track but still with enough edge and originality to make many heads turn as that kick hits the speaker. On "Shake And Bake" Marko takes it back the realm of deep with a heavy beat that´s contrasted by melodic chords and vocal chops. "I´ll Do It" is another dirty affair, perfect for building up an atmosphere. D_Fine joins forces with Marko on the closing track "Cartuxada" -- it is their tribute to a night they once spent clubbing around in Lisbon. Let the grooves turn.
