An introduction to the VIA NanoBook Reference Design, with some comments on how writers of the Beat Generation like Jack Kerouac would have used the device.
I disagree with the last user Via is NOT known for poor quality. Via is known for ultra low power products that are reliable and environmentally green. I think the new Via Nano processor is going to turn some heads because it uses less power than the Atom processor and it is much faster.
But I think the beat poets would have told you to "shove it", no offense. I just can't imagine them using a device that takes you "out of the human conversation".
i have been eyeballing and drooling over the kohjinsha. now this is nice, but does it require a module off to the right to get wifi? kind of annoying that. the kohjinsha also has a usb port to either side, but..not the card reader. this has got me in a quandry now!! which to choose which to choose. .....for now? kohjinsha..till i learn more about the nanobook. Cheers!!
Awesome Richard. Especially liked the ending, you on the fire escape in a TH shirt happily tapping away. A Russ idea? Well done all the way. Is Via using this anywhere other than YouTube?

Great video. Good music. Wonderful tech.

Still, nanobook and cloudbook are awesome.

It has WiFi built in, the external module is for a bluetooth handset, 3G wireless, GPS, etc.

WOW!!! As an international flight attendant, ultra mobile is what I am. So I'd say that despite its low heat feature, this baby is smokin' hot.
