Some schools and activist groups are looking to remove lowfat chocolate milk from cafeterias, but this actually could do more nutritional harm than good. Chocolate milk is the most popular milk choice in schools and kids are likely to drink less milk (and get fewer nutrients) if its taken away. • As a human I am well aware of the dietary need for cows milk, which we have evolved over time, in the wild, to consume, as we would gather fruits nuts vegetables, hunt lean animal meat and go to the local dairy farm to get some fresh milk. If you take away chocolate milk, not only will kids not get the chocolate they need, but there is actually an overall less consumption of dairy, calcium and vitamin D which has no contraindications as all dairy industry funded studies show. Drink milk!
