SEE?...THIS is what Mars Attacks! SHOULD have looked like. It should have been a serious Film--not a cheap B-Movie-on-purpose romp. YOUR short was very good.,

Thank you all for the kind words.
Low rez renders took about 2 hours. Each higher rez render pass took about 7.5 hours to turnaround on my computer. As there was very little time available to complete the assignment, I used an online renderfarm which cut the turnaround to ~2.5 hours. My last assembly finished about 10 minutes before the dead line. LOL!

Fantastic! The music, the performance of the saucers and the lighting is simply brilliant. Well done.
Only thing I would have liked to have seen was a close up of a saucer's death ray popping out, and then zapping the crap out of target. I think that was the most articulate part of the saucers in the film.

Thanks Samus! If I ever revisit this, I will definitely look to add some close up death ray shock-wave and twisted metal. I chose this theme for a school project after i got finished watching "First Contact". It was the last of too many films with the religious "aliens are our saviors" theme. (Sorry, no aliens are going to save us aight?!) I was just sick of it, so this was like therapy for me. Hahaha!
