I may have to do the same thing. How much water was the fish in, how many drops and over how long did you administer them. Also what method of recovery did you use? Thanks.

dude clove oil is da shit !!!!
i used some to clean my face with ( u can do that ) and it hurt like a son of a bitch but the next day my face felt incredibly smooth and whoooooooooo

A guy named Johnptc on MFK mentioned something about using clove oil as a last resort method in moving large monster fishes in the tank.All you need is get the tank rid of everything else but the fish you want to move and fill the water with clove oil or just put a bucket of clove oil in the container then just put the fish in their till its on the opposite side as if its dead which is not

he used clove oil as an anesthetic to make it get knockout as he was probably getting transferred to another tank.

I was going to cut his gill curl when I got him home. I was transporting him over an hour car ride. I cut his gill curl last week though. Knocked him out with the clove oil again and cut off the gill curl. He's recovering now.
