Some members of Congress have accused Pakistan for harboring terrorists. Leon Panetta and others expressed that allowing members of the Haqqani Network to attack US forces then flee into Pakistan for safety will not be tolerated. Will these accusations turn friend into foe? Michael Scheuer, former CIA intelligence officer, discusses the issue.

The problem with that is, Pakistan has nukes, over a hundred nukes, soon to be 300 by 2015. If the US attacks, Pakistan has no reservations about using them. There is a reason why Pakistan didn't sign up to the 'no first use' treaty. Attack a nuclear power is suicide, not only for the attackers, but the entire world, who didn't stop them from attacking.

  • What's wrong with the usa, it's jouts attacking every country!!!

  • I find it so strange that CIA officers do dirty work all their life, then when they retire, they become anti-US and anti-Israel. Isn't this little bit strange? Is this pre-planned or something?

  • THE CONGRESS IN UNITED STATES IS OWNED BY ISRAEL HEADS UP!

  • RIGHT NOW ITS SUICIDE BOMBERS SOON IT WILL BE SUICIDE COUNTRY

  • US uses other countries n thn or n destroys it but pakistan is not afghanistan iraq or libya

If they were being invaded, I don't think they would care. Again, I will say, going against a nuclear power is suicide, because it would end up wiping the world out.

It's important to note that only 9 or 10 nukes are needed to wipe out all life on earth, it would not only be suicide for the invading nation, but it would be suicide for the rest of the world that didn't stop the invasion from happening.

  • Congress in the United States is OWNED by Israel...

  • @helix4811 Pakistan will never be able to use nukes, they will be eliminated from the world map if they dreamed about it...

  • @TheB1gGunz

it would be suicide for their nation, I know.

You forget that out of all of them, only Pakistan has no reservations about using its nukes. That is why Pakistan has never signed the 'no first use' nuclear treaty, because it wants to keep its options open, in case of an invasion. Like I said previously, invading a nuclear power (including Pakistan) in grounds for suicide, because even if you win militarily, if even one nuke successfully launches and hits its target, then you will suffer for it.
