Very insightful. I too was raised protestant in very anti-Catholic environments. It has taken some time but after beginning an honest search for truth, I've been able to shed all these preconceptions and see the maturity of the faith of my catholic brothers and be free to learn from them.

Perhaps one day I will be closer to that side than this, though for now I'm stuck in the middle. Thank you again for your intelligent and coherent defense of the catholic faith. Blessings to you and yours.

@PrimeSonicYT It takes awhile. The rule I always had was this. God put me in the Catholic church. Of this i have no doubt. And he doesn't need a Protestant to tell me to leave, if he wants me to leave. Verify the claims of Protestants against the Catholic church. If the claims turns out to be lies, or taken out of context (and they will). Then you must ask "How can God be behind this?"

Thumbs up for the person who created this video. I have never heard of any priest, bishop,nun, etc, of the Catholic faith teach that statues are to be worshiped and are God. I am so sick of this garbage theology they try to throw in our face. If they are practicing the true faith then there should be all kinds of miracles, incorrupt saints & Eucharists, but there is not. The Catholics are witnessing Christ, His sacraments, and His commands. More than any other faith we are honoring the bible.

Excellent arguments. Unfortunately people will believe what they choose to believe. The conspiracy theories against the Church. They are somehow sexier than the truth. One of the stumbling blocks during my conversion process was the issue of graven images. Once I've researched about the issue (read the Catholic and Protestant arguments) and prayed about it, the rest is history. Any sincere person should look at the arguments on both sides instead of parroting.
