We didn't become the largest U.S. based dog training company in the history of the United States, and doing demonstrations in the middle of people's streets and in big public demonstrations such as the one seen in this video by being in the business of hurting dogs. I think if you educated yourself a bit, the mean, unfounded comments you make would disperse.

Any good trainer will tell you that the lowest setting the dog even remotely responds to (an ear twitch, head bob) is the setting to use. You people should get some perspective and actually go out and work with these animals you all pretend to be so concerned about, but evidently don't have the faintest bit of experience with.

The e-collar is an effective tool for training. I have gun dogs and it is important when I tell them to "whoa" or "heel" that the commands are followed. If I see that bear or coyote before they do, they need to listen NOW and follow the command so I can keep them safe. The e-collar doesn't "hurt" it's simply stimulation. Put one on ur neck or your wrist and use the settings. Its almost like a numbing effect with some pressure. It doesn't hurt at all.

My dogs are Sit Means Sit trained dogs and they love their collars, their trainers, and going to their group classes! When we pull into the parking lot for group classes our dogs "yodel" their excitement-they're as excited to be there as they are to go to the dog park!

HAHA. I have one of those collars and I've "shocked" it on myself and it doesn't even hurt. It's used to get their attention-not to punish them. For example if you want them to sit, come, place, or tell them they're good, you'd push the button. And FYI my dog LOVES the collar and wags his tail when I put it on him.

The dog should not be fearful of the collar but fearful of the person who does not know how to use it. This dog has obviously been trained to associate the collar with working. Nice job.
