2/3 Iranians voted for Ahmedinejad because;

1) He broke the monopoly of corrupt oligarchs and politicians (Rafsanjani) and forced them to pay a living wage.

2) channeled funds to depressed rural areas and poor neighbourhoods.

3) Unapologetic on Nuclear issue.

4) more eloquent than Mousavi and he is of Persian origin. Unfortunatly, in Iran millions of people are still racist and wouldnt vote in a president of Azeri descent (Mousavi).
