Wallahi as muslims we are sooo weak ..why is it so difficult to understand ? it is a saheeh hadith that says music is haram it is one of the major sins ..khalas how difficult is it to understand music is like doing fornication or taking liquor !! may Allah guide this Ummah, amiin !

lol, please don't talk without knowledge ! Music is haram cuz the messenger muhammad (saw) said it in the hadith below :

1) Hadhrat Abu Maalik Ash'ari (radhiyallahu anhu) says that he heard Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) say: "Most certainly, there will be in my Ummah people who will make lawful fornication, silk, liquor and musical instruments." (Bukhaari)

And as a muslims we follow the Quran from Allah and the Sunnah from prophet Muhammad (saw)

I dont get it Somalian people have someone finally after a time someone who can bring peace, joy, happiness someone who can mean something to the Somalian people. Why did you give up. I mean religion has nothing to do with music. You can express your feelings tru the music. He shouldve never stopped. Because there is nothing haraam about making music. Being a good muslim is helping people and dont doing anything bad. Well you couldve helped so many people tru his music.. sadly you stopped :(

@LordDonib academic value is irrelevant. If the hadeeth says in various places that Muhammad had sex with a 9 year old kid - then that is simply the truth. I dont need to do a research on that and publish a paper. If Muhammad raped women and killed their husbands in war and took their property as war booty - if the hadeeth says so then that is the simple truth. The evidence in the hadeeth is too strong to be ignored

Oh so you acknowledge he was illiterate? How comes because of him such a brilliant book exist today? Computer is not just an invention, it is a product of inventions, and what is the core of todays computers? Algebra and mathematics.
