@notacargiver I am sure you've made an excellent choice. After all, on such sad occasion, we ought to find strength, nobility, compassion and, above all, peace. Undoubtedly, this instrumental version manages to give us all those. I also recommend Pergolesi's Stabat Mater and a spanish song called La Muerte No Es El Final (Death is not the end). @ribeirofarias Faced with the task of picking music for my mother in law Marie's Funeral Mass I have chosen this instrumental version.

I feel that it is much more appropriate than looking for a vocal that does not sound commercial for this sad occasion.

It sounds almost comical to say that I turned to You tube for help. But it has put me in touch with the artist's and the CD's name as well...

Special thanks for posting this. Also to Andrea Rieu and his Orchestra for such a beautiful job...
