what to say. Apologies, ahead of time? Don't watch this if you want to live?

This is as far into boring art film land as I've ever gone. Cut it together back around January 29th, 2007.

But it is based on a true story. I lived in a tiny apartment on broadway, in downtown portland, for a time. One morning I was woken by some ridiculously loud protest out in the street beyond my window. I sat up and realized I'd left the home shopping network on all night. which is particularly weird, because I never watch that channel.

So I grabbed my camera and tried to capture all the elements that were contributing to my weirded out state of mind.

... Probably should have cut a ton of "my gross hairy shoulders" out of this, and maybe put in some diagrams to explain the dynamics of what was going.

While i don't expect anyone to "get it" (or enjoy it, truth be told). i do feel that it succeeded on some level, because it really puts me back in the strange surreal state of mind whenever I watch it.
