Such a beautiful upload. I truly believe that this was their best album, and that they had the most amazing drummer of all time then.

@scottelliottmusic You're right man, you're right :-)

@landscapebe oh yeah. They are still a great live band, but before he became "The Lead Singer of the Counting Crows" to millions of people, he didnt have an image to live up to so the performances were more daring because, well, they didnt have to worry about letting anyone down! Getting super famous can be limiting. you have pressure to deliver what people expect, and have paid for, so that they keep paying for it in the future. if you want to make money and live that is.

It's true, the old days were good. But he still has some great live versions, even now.

That my friend is a great but true statement :-)

The BEST LIVE version ive heard! a GREAT song, so much emotion and feeling. Sound quality is the best and his voice is sounding sweet! For me this is a great find! THANKYOU TO THE UPLOADER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@mohammad5 Yeah, there was something extra going on in that period. It wasnt just about writing good music; i think he put more of himself into it. Maybe he just HAD more to put into it. I dont know the dynamics, but it seems like the band plays around him, like a Jim Morrison and the Doors situation. Im sure they all put a lot in, but he seems to have the central power for the band. It IS his voice that sets them apart after all. The old days were just magic.

@scottelliottmusic lol, great comment man, got a laugh out of me :).
There performances in the mid 90s were the best. They're still very good to this day, but any Counting Crows fan knows they were at their best during the August and Everything After period, this performance proves out.
he is probably the only guy who can go on stage in sweatpants and I will still take seriously

can you tell me one band, even one band that comes close to the emotion they have?
Please if I'm wrong, give me the name of the other band.
