Sorry for the raw footage. I wanted to get some video posted as soon as I could. I'll do some editting in awhile. Lots of video and pictures of the rally and the march. This one is of the march. I couldn't really see what I was filming so, yeah, whatever. Sorry.
To those who don't know, the rally and march were held in Portland as part of a globals show of support for the people in Iran who are fighting against tyranny.
You don't really get an idea of how many people were marching until I turn the camera around at :25. Then you can see there were quite a few people.
Lots of green today. It was also my son's first rally/protest/march so I'm pretty proud. He asked to wear my old, worn out Iran flag t-shirt. That made me even prouder. Hehe. My boy.

One thing I'm beginning to notice is videos of Portland's rally where only the people with "POrtland Stands With Iran" placards and green flags handed out by the organizers are shown. This is inaccurate. There were many people with the old Iranian flag and homemade signs not only showing support for those in Iran but also anti-IRI signs. In fact, there was a very large and vocal group of anti-IRI folks. They were shouted down but that happens at events like this. But to cut them out completely? It's revisionism and censorship and it makes me not want to be a apart of it. We'll see what happens. Maybe I'll go just to make sure everyone's voices are heard.
