ABOUT THE VID
I went to see Wicked in London's West End with my school on the 11th of July. I knew none of the songs, nothing of the plot, only that it was about the Wicked Witch of the West - Elphaba - and Glinda the Good (if you've seen the musical, you'll know how very basic that is!). But I was enchanted by it, I laughed, I cried and I got goosebumps all up my arms from Kerry Ellis' fantastic singing.
The song "For Good" is sung by Glinda and Elphaba near the end. It's a beautiful, poignant song about two friends saying goodbye, and is my favourite from the musical (except for, possibly, the astounding Defying Gravity).
I thought that this song would fit for the Doctor and Rose's friendship because they've both changed through the times they've had together, for good. Rose is stronger, more grown up and so much wiser. The Doctor has changed his face to save her life, changed his ideas and beliefs and how he talks...and they both found love.
I tried to paint a picture of their irreplaceable friendship in making this vid, and I hope I did it well :)
N.B. Rose sings Glinda's lines and the Doctor sings Elphaba's lines.

Thank you soooo much for this vid. At first I thought I wouldn't like Wicked, as I'd only heard a snippet of 'Popular' and thaought it might be like High School Musical... The less said about that the better *shudder*

But then I saw this amazing video and listened to more of the soundtrack, and now it's one of my favorite musicals! Thank you so much!!!!!

It's very true, they both changed each other's lives so much. Great use of the lyrics images to match up with the fake scenery of Doctor Who like the comet etc. I especially like that you ended it with two of their reunions instead of their parting. Wonderful video and a song I've never heard!

this video is so perfect because it's a beautiful song and when you think about rose did change the doctor to be a more fun loving person and the doctor showed rose what life could really be like. i love this video!
