邵氏公司在60年代中期 (1964年) 开拍的「小云雀」是为顾媚量身订做的电影。顾媚在片中扮演一位自曼谷到港的名歌星施小云（ 她本人的绰号命名的女歌星 ——〈小云雀〉），和欲打听歌星桃色秘闻的记者刘仕泰（邵氏著名歌舞喜剧小生:陈厚）发生的一段爱情奇缘故事，属一般的喜剧，剧情也有点胡闹。片中自然少不了高歌一曲的戏， 这首「不了情」正好也是其中的插曲之一，这次顾媚的重新诠释自然是驾轻就熟、信手拈来。 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKmqn5teMOc
除了顾媚唱「小云雀」主题曲外，自然也少不了歌唱场面。电影最珍贵处，是片还邀请了许多60年代的大歌星，诸如：方逸华、潘秀琼、华怡保、麦韵等参与演出。然而，她们不只是规规矩矩地站在歌厅演唱，电影最后安排的一场慈善义唱会，更给予这些歌星大展身手的机会。精心设计的舞台搭配熟练的舞者，每一首歌的演出都是可以单独播放的MV。片中出现多首经典歌曲，包括方逸华主唱的「花月佳期」及潘秀琼主唱的「情人的眼泪」等；「灯红酒绿」由麦韵演唱；「农家乐」由蓝娣 (曾江的前妻) 演唱；还有华怡保 (星马歌星) 穿旗袍的22吋小蛮腰载歌载舞唱「人生的路」也是卖点之一。主角顾媚更是献唱了插曲：「我心里有一个人」、「阿里山的姑娘」、「相思河畔」、「空虚的梦」、「露珠儿」、「海棠」、「不了情」等。

蓝娣： (1941-1991)，原名张莱娣，早期与胞姐张莱莱为飞利浦唱片录歌，1958年开始拍电影，并改名「蓝娣」，1969年与曾江结婚，可惜数载后离异。
Landi Chang 蓝娣
In an era when most Mandarin movie actresses were Mainland-born young ladies fresh out of high school, whose families relocated to the colony in the wake of the communist victory, Landi Changs background was unique. Raised in Singapore, she came to Hong Kong as a teenage circus performer, making hers one of the more distinctive entries into filmdom. Landi was born Zhang Laidi 张莱娣 into a showbiz family in 1941. Her father was a pioneer in the Chinese circus world who had moved from his native Tianjin to Malaya. After her parents untimely death, Landi and her elder sister, future recording star Zhang Lailai 张莱莱, studied music and dancing, achieving professional status at a tender age by performing with musical troupes in Southeast Asia. In 1954, the sisters came to Hong Kong as part of the Shen Changfu Circus 沈常福马戏团. By the time Landi made her film debut at age 18, she was already a seasoned veteran of the stage. She was signed by Hong Kongs Hsin Hwa 新华 Studio, whose publicity department gave her the nickname Treasure of Hsin Hwa.新华之宝 Landis first movie was the musical 100 Birds Face the Phoenix 百鸟朝凤 (1959), in which she played a ballet-dancing country lass and introduced the song hit Tell Me How to Stop Thinking of Him 教我如何不想他. The following year, she confirmed her stardom with The Innocent Girl 小鸟依人 (1960) and her rendition of The Garlanded Girl From India 天竺的花鬓女. Between 1960 and 1963, she starred with teenage Josephine Siao Fong-fong 萧芳芳in three wuxia 武侠 martial arts movies. Landi next had a role in the all-star production The Big Circus 大马戏团 (released in 1964), a picture whose setting was one with which she was very familiar. The movie had added significance in that it was her first collaboration with Ken Tsang 曾江, whom she would wed in 1968. The union ended in divorce. In 1963, Landi signed with Shaw Brothers, Hong Kongs largest studio. Despite being there for four years, she made only a few films, beginning with the musical The Dancing Millionairess 万花迎春 (1964) and ending with the James Bond-type thriller Angel Strikes Again 铁观音大破爆炸党 (1968). Landi retired after her marriage, making a brief return to the screen in the mid-1970s in such pictures as Divorce Hong Kong Style 香港式离婚, starring her husband and directed by his sister, Jeanette Lin Tsui 林翠. She emigrated to Canada, but still made occasional public appearances, such as a 1990 charity event in Singapore in which she and her sister performed. There wasnt a hint of the illness that led to her death the next year, age 50. As her films had not been screened in a quarter-century, her passing received only passing notice. But with the imminent restoration and re-release of the Shaw Brothers library, a new generation will soon have the opportunity to discover Hong Kongs only circus girl-turned-movie star.
