  • where do you live? if i walked to work i would have a heat stroke lol but that's great you can do it

  • @gooseblack12 haha, I live in Oregon :), it doesn't get too hot here although for the past 3 days we have hit 90 :)

  • That is awesome Ramona! I live about 15 miles away from my work, so I can't walk to work, but two summers ago when I was smaller I did walk to the grocery store, to my parents house, to the park, etc. Garrett and I used to walk everywhere. This summer has been extra hot here, so Garrett and I haven't walked as much as we did that summer. That is interesting information about Endorphins!

  • @missrugby Aww Sonya, I can totally understand how heat can be in the way, but hopefully when it cools down, you could start walking again. What I love about it is that I don't have to plan it, I know I need to get to work and I need to get back home so it has to happen, lol. Same with the store right? You gotta go shopping for food so the only choice that needs to be made is not to grab the car keys lol. I hope you guys are well friend :)!

  • Glad you enjoy the walking. Everyone should exercise if just for the endorphin's. :)

    :)

  • So glad that you started walking to and from work. Walking is such an under rated form of exercise. Glad that you live that close to work to be able to do that. I figure I get in about 2 miles walking at work on my three breaks. Interesting about the endorphins. Keep up the great work.

  • You are doing awesome!

  • @AHealthyPath Thanks! :) At age 55 it is either DO it or lose it.

  • @999nettie Awww! I am so so sorry you are going through those physical issues :(. I pray you recover quickly so you can start walking again. YOu are right, it does so much for us on so many fronts ! Keep me posted!

  • I love walking too! three miles is a lot! be proud of that. just be careful because I am dealing with some tendonitis in my foot from overuse and am not allowed to walk for awhile. I know these things can take a long time to heal and that is killing me mentally and emotionally. I never thought I would go through withdrawal with any exercise, but I am. For me, walking was so goodfor body, mind and soul!
