I think the audio on this vid is making the band sound real shitty because I was actually there and they sounded great!

a large amount of quality is lost during a recording. I use a hand held recorder whenever I record bands. If you have the recording volume too high it makes the band sound a hot mess and I don't care how clean they're playing. That's because no large number of musicians playing will ever be free from 1)intonation issues 2)missed/wrong notes 3)timing issues. The closer you are to a band, the lower your recording volume should be. It's not so much the video as it is the recording apparatus.

@pbsstep1914 They are better. Theyre in DESPARATE need of a leadership change. This band has a LOT of tradition and pride, but that wont get you all the success. You gotta earn it and stop riding the accomplishments of past versions in the present. Ahhhh...........I now digress. Love ya Gram!

i am sitting here actually SEARCHING for a good clip of Grambling. When I saw them at HONDA years ago live, they DEFINITELY not the horrible collection of notes that are displayed in this clip and and most clips online. I KNOW this band has GOT to be better than THIS!!!!!

OMG!!! IM SORRY 2 SAY THIS BUT THIS SOUNDS SO HORRIBLE! it sounds like a big out of tune high school. and the trumpets screamin like that was un called for! and it was a horrible arrangement,yall need 2 check out FAMU arrangement and study it HARD!

Hey, i do like but, it does sound bad on the video,but it's a whole lot better in person, i guess the video took out some of the quality, because my school David W. Carter High School Videos on here, don't sound real good either, and we know we sound good, our directors make sure of that, even if it takes all night
