This video shows how to 1st remove a 4-prong power cord and then install correctly a 3-prong power cord on a GE Electric Dryer.
Safety 1st, always disconnect power before servicing electrical appliances.

This is my first video edited with LIGHTWORKS BETA software. I like the program, but it was difficult to figure out all the codec issues to make it work. Once I got past that, it did a beautiful job!

The opening theme music and the background music were both composed and performed by myself, Kenneth O'Banion, Jr. If you would like to here the background song, "Jubliant Sunshine" by itsself, I have it uploaded as a music video on my channel, canyonman1963!

  • I'm trying to change out the power cord on a Whirlpool Dryer and my green wire also seems to have a white wire setting in the same spot beneath the green? What am I supposed to do with the white one - its not part of the cord and is coming from inside the dryer somewhere?

  • Thank you thank you thank you....... you saved my laundry day!!!!

  • the music is too loud. the video is fine without background music. i can hardly hear you at times because of it
