How to tie the four-in-hand knot. To help you follow along, I've flipped the video so it looks like you're looking in a mirror, ie my right is your right and my left is your left. For more manly information check out artofmanliness.com

  • Nice video. Simple, informative, easy to follow, and not too long and boring. Nice work.

  • this is a nice, really fast knot. But for a nicer look, I'd go with a double windsor.

  • I watched a few of these and this was the first one that actually did a good job.

Side Note: I'm 30 and this is the first time I've ever tied a tie. My dad did it for me once and I never untied the thing.

  • @walnutgrovemo read the info box.

  • The wide end is on your left not your right lol

  • @Euryka89: read the note under the video... "To help you follow along, I've flipped the video so it looks like you're looking in a mirror, ie my right is your right and my left is your left."

  • "You want the wide end on your right side and the narrow on your left"... Did my brain melt or isn't he doing it the other way around?

  • this guy is the real amreican hero!!!
