Hi & thank you! "Metalchik" is a jewelry-loving girl, although I do like Metal as well. Flowgrr24, you are TOTALLY right & you get our mission. I'm glad we are inspiring people to think outside the box of prevailing fashions, and DIY instead. And YES, funding is being cut all over the place for arts. It's a sad indictment of our culture, so if metalchik can inspire even one person or parents to involve themselves in creative things, we have succeeded.

may i say that i love your ideas and the overall feel of your shows! suggestion: you might want to work on sounding snobby about other people's jewelry tastes. i mean if the whole point is to be able to wear what you want by making it instead of going with the mainstream, then you should remember to be open-minded about ideas that don't necessarily fit your tastes but do fit others'... just something to think about.

Hey, thanks for the comment! We are definitely open to other people's ideas - check out our other vids. We cover DIY, plus other things like diamonds, body piercing, etc. We hope to show that we support ALL kinds of jewelry!
