  • According to Wikipedia, the counterpoint in Scarborough Fair/ Canticle was Art´s idea.

    Counterpoint itself - achieving harmony in the process of interweaving two different musical themes... Doesn´t it resemble their careers? Whenever they met on stage again, it happened precisely in the right moment. Instead of speculating what a pity their professional breakup was, people should be quietly grateful for such occasions. Only rare events become unforgettable.

  • @storrs19 Yes some of the hidden verses begin with ''The Side of A Hill'' and if you're a S &G fan you would totally know this was taken from ''The Paul Simon Songbook'' version.
