The Hova Bator incubators need to be monitored everyday. If you decide to pick one up make sure you stabilize the temperature for at least a week before using it.

  • here's one from a person who wouldnt use anything other than a Hova bator.

the Hova bators are really not as described in this video.

the Hova bator is one of the best for the dollar on the market today.

i would put my hatching skills with the hova bator up against any other bator you find. other than the natural female.

jmho you didnt do much other than tell everyone you dont know how to set up the hova bator.

  • @chatter7365 I never said I did not know how to set up the incubator. I used this one for a few years without any issues other then having to monitor the temps every day and adjust them when needed. It was just more to worry about then I needed. For what I paid (FREE) it was worth it. I saw on your home page you have chickens and I assume you raise them. This is what a Hova Bator is made for. I just needed something bigger and better. Thank You for taking the time out to comment.

  • after you put the eggs(leopard gecko eggs) in the bucket of vermiculite how do you keep it moist?? can you get the eggs wet?

  • @666krissi The vermiculite hold moisture. You want to make it wet so it clumps together when you squeeze it but make sure no water drips from it. The eggs should not get any water on them.

  • how good is hatch rite?

  • @jaks41 I have never used it

  • i have a hovabator its fine

  • you should take 1 egg into a micowave :p but break it so it doesnt spin:P

  • what's that under the eggs?

  • I used to have the Hova-bator and it was great. I ended up selling it after I bought a new and improved one. I sold that when I moved and have an LG which sucks but will re-buy another Hova-Bator again :)

  • 'POS"? Mine works just great! I hve this same one with a fan and auto-turn and it works just fine for chickens, lizrds, ect. I have a Radio Shack digitl ltemp probe that gives humidity and helps lts. Good idea to hve digital temp probe in any incubtor though. God looking dragons!

  • ur supposed to put a top cover on the eggs to cover dem while inside of incubator rite?

  • @chatter7365 have you ever heard of the exo-terra thermoelectric incubator????? Look into it and think about you hova bator thing

  • @chatter7365 no its not it sucks as you see in the video

  • I have seen a few people use Hova incubator at home, it is foam build incubator and it does the job good enough, it is around $70-80, you have to turn eggs manually or $110-120 with automatic egg turner, I see the comments mostly "foam box no worth 80 dollars", now important thing is egg hatching rate, what does it make difference plastic or metal or foam, it is cheap and the eggs hatch very well, important thing is the result fellows, if your eggs hatch successfully that is it.
