@ooGAMINGoo - Yes, 2816 was originally part of the Steamtown collection. But it was 1278, a G5 Class "Pacific", that Steamtown traded for 3254 back in 1987. 2816 was sold to CPR after ex-BC Rail Steam Foreman Al Broadfoot needed an spare part from 2816 to use on "Royal Hudson" #2860.
Through that arrangment, Steamtown offered the whole engine - thus, the seed was sown for 2816's rebirth :)

Wasn't this origanilly steamtowns train then they traded 2816 and $100,000 for 3254?
