  • She is NOT race walking!!! This is dangerously misleading...walking on the side of her feet and an exaggerated armswing...she would be disqualified immediately in any race walking competition!!!

  • what the hell was this...has this woman ever been in a race, or even read the rules of racewalking. I would be thrown out of ever race if I followed this advice. Please stay out of the sport. You are going to hurnt someone

  • I'm a 43 year old fattie.. I'm going to start eating better and try a combo of racewalking and powerwalking since running would be to hard on my old joints. I don't think I can walk on my feet the same way you do because I have low arches. thanks and love the way your hips sway, hubba hubba...:)

  • @firstdaddy....relax the whole idea is pure crap

  • I am very surprised a brand like Livestrong is endorsing this. Definitely made my perception of the Livestrong brand plummet.

  • She gonna ruin her feets by walking on the sides of those feets like she do..

  • It looks funny because she bowlegged causing the pronation. The arms swinging...a little too much.

  • Thank you!!

  • This is all wrong. The form she is trying to use is pure crap.

Walking is a particular type of gait, where you never have both feet off the ground. You can actually run at a slower pace than many people walk. When I was in the Air Force, we called it the "Lackland Shuffle." As long as you get both feet off the ground (and it's a symmetrical 1-2-1-2 gait, not skipping) it's running.

  • Fail... Don't bring your arms up that high and there's no drive from the back leg

  • this is the complete wrong way to race walk.
