@skyiscrying53 Probably because 78's by Billie & Ella cost more money than I've got. ;) Seriously, especially Billie's 78's - they're priced in the stratosphere and nobody (understandably) wants to trade 'em.
I've got a few of Ella's cuts (including one live at JATP from 1949) and a couple of Billie's cuts (original 78's of "Strange Fruit" from 1939 and "Any Old Time" with Artie Shaw from 1938 - the only recording she made with Artie & a tune Artie wrote special for her) posted, though.

@skyiscrying53 I've also got one of Ella's rarest 78's posted: "Did You Mean It?" with Benny Goodman from 1936 - thanks to Decca raising a stink, the record was pulled off the shelves after just 3 weeks in December, 1936, never to be issued on 78 again and not issued again in ANY form until an EP set issue in the late 1950's.
Ella was just 21 years old and you can hear it here: /watch?v=X40OJtkACGc
