the sound of the new camera has been fine for me...I think it must be to do with people's settings, not the camera

Thanks Simon for the reminder to do some bottles. My Prom date just said she still has one I made in junior college and it looks somewhat better for having gone through the loss of her house in a California forest fire. The Etsy is supposed to be a decent outlet as I've been told to join by more than one person. Time to get on it eh so stay in there.

Winchcombe pottery takes those little flattened bottles, adds two lugs on each side and attaches a hanging leather for wall vases. Just an idea for some of them maybe. No problems with the sound on my iPhone either. What kind of clay are you using now that you're here in the US?

Great Idea using the mallet. How about using the flat side to create just a flat window surface to do your beautiful painted "whispies" on? Are you using a stamp for the USA, as you did for Spain?? Just curious. Volume fine when mine was turned all the way up. Thanks for all your hard work. Much appreciated!!!

i have had no problems with the volume on any of the new clips and i am watching them in 720 p-- jon the expat . try a potato masher ! when the clay is soft still . its smashing

I'm sure the volume is just a camera setting or something with the codec it's recording in. What is the make/model of the new camera? I'm a video/photographer so maybe can help out. Love your vids and the new HD is very nice to watch!

Can't wait for you to fire these little bottles. SUPER WORK.

What you say is understandable if, as you recommended, you turn the volume on your computer to maximum! But the sound quality still can't tip the previously used camera.
Thanks for sharing!

I so wish I had the time to watch more of your videos...14 minutes is bit long for one video so I can browse through the others (please don't take this wrong... it's just difficult for me to sit on one video for more than say 5 minutes ...my bad, not yours:) PS. Yes the sound is fine

Much better sound this evening, Simon...thank you! It is best when you are facing the microphone. I'll go into a quiet spot to listen now, with the new camera. Will you be making any mortar and pestles soon, for your Etsy? It is quite neat to see pots for sale there that we've watched you making...all the best!
