  • have you just got a 50hp motor on your cat?iv always wanted to try footing, didnt no i could try behind my cat. best boats ever

  • Standard 50hp Tohatsu..only strengthend for surf..if you are going to try then give me another comment and I will send you some website pages to check and learn before you make same mistakes I did and get hurt from big stacks..I am 75kg and speed (37 knots flat out with no skier) of boat is only just enough for me...salt water feels better under feet due to more density...technique is PARAMOUNT unless you want to get hurt and lots of water up your ???? But great value...I encourage you to try!

  • i wont a thunder cat,

    how much r they ??

  • Anywhere from $5000-$15000 for a good one....check out Ebay....they have some going on there

  • Yeah...I have heard about these drysuit thingys...I just have a "can of harden up" each morning instead...hee hee...I am interested in hearing from you what this Monza is all about...I haven't heard of it...The harder I go on cutting with a single ski the more that I enjoy the speed also with ski or footing...I agree about the wakeboard drag etc...Mind you its only because I am no good at them...I do still enjoy kneeboard and tubes...Particularly tube wars with another mate...thats great carnage

  • I didn't even think to look up footing on Youtube! Nice work ;)

  • Thanks for that...I have just been playing with knee skiing of late and cutting the wake properly...Weather is a little cold but still lots of fun...

  • yea man that would be good thanks. big stakes r fun to watch tho. sweet im 72kg so shud b all go.

  • respect!

  • And that's precisely what 'Drysuits' are developed for :P

Have you ever tried out the 'Monza'? My father has one in his little inventory of skis and it is perfect for cutting (IMO of course). Though I'm still quite the amature, it taught me how to become so much more agressive to the cut, if that makes any sense. All in all, it got me much more interested in the speed of skiing/footing etc, than the drag of Wakeboarding and such.

    Keep it up!

  • absolutely i got a 3.2m with 15hp and love it but cant wait till get a 25hp, i usually go wavejumping in the surf with a mate in aswell u can do so much in them and they are really light which means fuel efficient =]
