End The Siege of GAZA Demonstration: London 03:01:2009
Thousands of Londoners, outraged at what they have been watching on their television screens, marched from the Embankment, past the Palace of Westminster and 10 Downing Street, to Trafalgar Square. Our hope is that the United States will finally rein in Israel and solve this problem once and for all.
Protesters:
Tony Benn, Annie Lennox, Bianca Jagger, George Galloway, Alexie Sayle, myself and thousands of people from across Britain.
The StWC are calling for an emergency demonstration on Saturday 10th January 2009. Starts at Hyde Park, ends at Israeli Embassy, Kensington.
