Trooper Loves Treats!

The Humane Society of Missouri Animal Cruelty Task Force rescued Trooper after he had been dragged by a truck for more than a mile. Three weeks into his recovery, he is loving toys and treats!

I personally know one of the people who took part in caring for him when he first came in. The fact that he's (a) alive and (b) still has all four legs really is amazing, and I know he got the best care possible. The fact he was there in the first place shows some of the worst in people, but those that were able to care for him show some of the best as well.

I am SO THRILLED to see him making so much progress! He has been in my prayers and in my heart! He is one tough pup with such determination&strength to live! It disgusts me there are so many people out there that treat innocent animals so horribly. We as humans need to be their voice, give them love, care, shelter&a safe environment. Animals have a nervous system&they too feel pain-physical, mental&emotional-just like we do. We need to be standing up for them! Way to go Trooper!

Cute town! When I read his story it broke my heart. I'm glad that our donations coupled with the compassion, skill, and dedication of his team of caregivers has facilitated his recovery.
