Reflection on my trip to Cotahuasi Canyon, Peru (in the Andes mountains) this past summer.
Basically, the land is beautiful, the people are precious, and the experience was priceless. Like I say at the end of this video, I could see myself being there "forever and ever"

Hey Rjikieda, I was looking for a perfect music for my video and I found your precious video, it is sweet, I am so glad beacuse you visit to Cotahuasi. Thank God, there are people like you that want to help to other people, till more, of other country like Peru. I from Peru, the last week was there, I took some present for the children to three towns and were so sweet to be with the childrens :), soon I will upload my video . God bless you!

I would love to join you in your mission. My parents are from a very VERY small village outside of Cotahuasi... Ive been living in the US since I was a kid and would love to be useful in the area where my parents are from.. please keep me informed.

yep - we were indeed from College Park.We had a great time and got to experience several sides of what the family and the pastors are doing. Wish we could have had some more time there than just a week. Yeah... I'm on FB, under Joshua Plitt. I think Jeanelle and I are friends.

I just returned from Cotahuasi on March 19th. My dad found this video and shared it with me. It looks as if you were spending time with the Shaw family? When they're in the US, they are a part of the church I go to. A group of 13 of us just returned from there a couple of days ago. It's unique that your video was out on the web and that I recognized folks in it.

@oulluvme That's awesome! Were you with College Park church? This video is from summer 2009, but I also spent July 2010- January 2011 there! The Shaw's are basically family - their younger daughter, Cassie is married to my brother, Aaron. They are coming and staying at my house in April and I'm hoping to visit a few churches with them after that. Do you have a facebook or anything?
