I thought the Ac booster was a little smoother sounding. They both sounded great though, just personal preference.

I just bought an AC booster and I played it through my Fender Super and it doesn't sound like the tones you got from your pedal. Maybe because it didn't leave the bass and treble settings flat and I boosted the level a bit. I think the EQ settings allow this pedal to be a bit more useful. I also bought the RC pedal. Great pedals.

To me, I don't consider the AC Booster a medium gain pedal. I thought the AC stood for "almost clean," making it more of a low-to-medium gain pedal. Regardless, these two pedals are great pedals!

Thank you guys again for these videos. There is so much to learn about the hardware, and your vids are great for instruction! The musical selections highlight the tonal differences, you make A/B comparing seem like it takes two minutes and a mic, and the coloration walks out and smacks you in the face... which of course really means these are unusually good vids. Which is where I started, so thanks again, and looking forward to more!

I thought the AC had more clarity and cut through better. both were very close imo

Can you do a comparison video between the Jetter Gain Stage Purple and the Lovepedal Purple Plexi, please???

i like the jetter it souds a little tighter nad the notes of open chords dont bleed together. it soundsa bit more vintage

I think the AC was better with the Les Paul whereas the Gold was perfect for the tele!
