Kissam Demolition

Watch video of Mims Hall at Kissam Quadrangle as it is torn down.

Construction began in mid-May on College Halls at the current site of Kissam Quadrangle. The two-year, $115 million project will tear down the six existing dorms that comprise Kissam Quad in favor of two large, state-of-the-art residential colleges connected by a light-filled central gathering and dining space.

Farewell, Kissam Quad. I knew ye well

I lived in Dyer my freshman year. LOVED my single room!

People who lived in that quad are still some of my best friends 31 years later.

Glad I got to see it in 2010 for my 25th reunion.

That's bits and pieces of my old room next to the stairs there on the 3rd floor. Wow. I met some of my best friends in that building 11 years ago.
