Every true hockey fan, that isn't pure blooded Canadian as shows favoritism towards the Golden Boy is going to tell you that if they could have one player to build a team around, it's Ovechkin. @japantuning88 oh please, let's not get into Russian history. You must be 12 for saying something like "well we're better in any category". Let's just say that if we had to, Russia would down you guys in an instant--and i'm not talking about hockey. Say all you want but as you fins crawl up the rankings, we're still first. And in case you didn't realize, you're watching Alexander Ovechkin's video who is one of the greatest players--and you guessed it, he's Russian.

@japantuning88 chara is an overall huge guy who is hard to take down and Artyukhin took him down, that was my point. Not to mention chara landed his heavy punches straight to the face and it didn't even faze artyukhin. Haha and of course you would say he flopped around like a useless piece of shit while your little fins were downed by him and the other Russian players took care of the rest of the fins. Maybe you need to get your eyes checked.

@Kroitk maybe you were watching a whole different game because all i remember artyukhin was flopping around the rink like a useless piece of shit that he is. and anyone who has followed any nhl games knows that zdenko chara is not a fighter, wrestler would match more on him in his "fights".

@japantuning88 Haha well thanks for pointing out the obvious, but I think Russia can afford to miss one medal after such a legendary streak. Of course, comparing Russia to Finland, you wouldn't know anything about that ;)

@japantuning88 we'll see how Russia does in the future, but for now, we're STILL #1. Also, I don't know which incident you're talking about and the one I was referring to was the most recent one in Russia vs Finland 2011 game. Artyukhin didn't start the fight but he makes sure he finishes them by taking fins down one by one. Go look up any of his fights and you'll see that he doesn't lose. Even the "big monster" Chara was clearly losing and he's considered a beast, so that says a lot.

@Kroitk thank you but russia won't be long in the number #1 spot if bykov stays in charge. you are talking about that incident where tuomo ruutu checked a russian player in euro hockey tour and your artyukhin showed why he left the nhl? didn't even go for a same size guy first and if he did that in nhl he would not be skating ever again. and his play in the world champs was just pathetic to watch.
