Thailand is often known as "The Land of Smiles", but what's behind this myth? Many visitors are overwhelmed by the Thai hospitality, the warm welcome and the friendly people. Is it all fake? Do we pretend to be smiley and friendly, because all we want is your tourist money?

Please think and change your mind !! I am Thai people and I didn't came here to fight with some rude comments . Some people are smile from their heart because they have fun to have a tourist from oversea and make them happy (the same feeling as we help someone and we feel happy). And it's rude That you say our king didn't help any poor people!!!

I like to add that I prefer a thai fake smile instead of a real scowl on the face of white people I see almost daily! in USA. american people are so rude and unfriendly.

Nice video, one of the best Ive seen. Ive been all over Thailand, and its very true.

There are good and bad people EVERYWHERE, but generally in Thailand the people are extremely friendly.

I LOVE Thailand from the far north to the far south.....
