Perform this series of movements prior to your Olympic Lifting to develop proper movement patterns that will help when you get weight on that bar!
The series is performed as 3 reps of each movement, many times we will have our athletes start with a light bar or PVC and then again with the regular olympic bar:
The Up Down
Elbows high and outside
Muscle Snatch
Snatch Land
Snatch Drop
Hang Squat Snatch
Remember to get the triple extension (foot, knee and hip) in the 3 first movements. Thats the most important movement when creating power in your lifts. Drive the hips and make sure to get the triple extension, its not just an arm movement. Otherwise you´ve got it correct.
