thing about folk is, it gets passed around. no one really cares who wrote the tune in the first place, what matters is it means something to people at the time

As a matter of fact there is, the first album we released is available on cdbaby (I recommend) and on iTunes (I don't recommend).

I would like to see some evidence for that. AFAIK, "Frosty Morning" is a very old tune from Western Europe, possibly dating back to as old as The Egyptian empire, but without written records, there is virtually no way to tell. Musical archaeology really can only go so far...
