@Intangiblemobfigaz Saying those scriptures speak of a pre-trib so called "rapture" is just another LIE. Because 1st Thessalonians 4:15 speaks of the coming of the Lord. Matthew 24:29-30 speaks of the coming of the Lord. John 14: 3 speaks of Christ coming back. But none of those scriptures speak of plural comings of Christ. Christ himself never said I will coma again twice. But he did say the "rapture" would be on the last day(John 6:39-40).

It's not a LIE here's the scripture 1Thessalonians 4:16-18 speaks on the pre tribulation rapture the catch for being able to actually go with the lord jesus christ is you must be living a 'holy and acceptable life in the eyes of the lord' or then you'll have to be a martyr of the faith in order to get into heaven. This will take place BEFORE the first 3 1/2 year period of false peace once the second 3 1/2 years of the 7 year tribulation period happens it will literally be HELL ON EARTH

@johnankerberg Rev3:10 was written to a specific church 1900 yrs ago and cannot be applied as a blanket statement for the church in general, especially because the statement was conditional(They kept His word). Also, all reference to Christian suffering in Rev. is at the hands of the Anti-Christ and other evil men. This is not God's wrath, just the same persecution that the Church experiences even today,so the 1Thess5:9 point is moot as well. There is no Pre-Trib Rapture.

...this very same time period) only that they "escape" by resurrection, because they are the "children of Light", and "not appointed to wrath", (meaning God's wraht of Armageddon)

... on these facts. just Google "sorensen ministries" and you will get my website, on which my book "None Dare Call It Deception" is available. You can reach me through "contacts". As for 1.Thess.5:9 it follows verses 1-5, in which it is made clear, that the "brethren" are right here on the Earth right up until this "sudden destruction", that will the destroy the wicked (which describes the Battle of Armageddon) And "That Day" will not overtake them as a thief,(meaning they are here at ...

@johnankerberg ...That speaks only of the "firstfruits" of the church in Philadelphia, just as is mentioned about the "firstfruits in Thyatira,(Rev.2:24-25) and Sardis, "a few Names" the "firstfruits" (Rev.3:4) But "the Rest" oin Thyatira, and Sardis, and Philadelphia, were told that if they "overcome" they wer promised certain things. The problem you all have is that you all do not understand the several orders to teh first resurrection. Have Dr. Showers contact me for an explanation ...

There are 2 visible Comings, one FOR the saints (Mt.24, Mk.13,Lk.21) ,the other WITH it (Rev.19)."Immediately after the Tribulation" (not Great Trib.) is at The Abom.of Des. according to Jesus in Lk.17:29-36. The Day of the Lord is The 2nd Coming of Christ & the Resurrection (1 Thes.5:2) & is the 1st event of Gt. Tribulation. It coincides with The 6th Seal, Rev.6,& 7& Dan.12:1-3 at The Appointed Time & The End (Dan.11:27-31). I think the Churches are making very big mistakes with their doctrines.

The Great Tribulation is NOT the wrath of God, but the wrath of man and of Satan upon the Church. The wrath of God occurs in the Day of the Lord, which immediately follows the Great Tribulation and the Resurection.

No to 'rapture''; not a true teaching. It is called being Caught Up! Or the Translation of the Saints. And it is in 2011. Which bible? KJV 1611 + 400 = 2011> Gen. 15:13, Acts 7:6,7. Israel ref. 1948 + 70 = 2018 - 7 (Seven Yr. Trib)= 2011! Jer. 25:11; Dan. 9:2; Rev. 17:5. Wake church, you're going home. God bless.

I would just like to throw this into the wind.... Matthew 24: 37,38-39 ; "The world will be at ease - banquets and parties and weddings - just as it was in Noah's time before the sudden coming of the flood; people wouldn't believe what was going to happen until the flood actually arrived and took them all away. So shall my coming be." ..... I just don't see the world going about their daily lives and being at ease if this is during or at the end of the Great Tribulation.....
I have 2 scriptures for you. From John 17, Jesus said, "Father, I do not pray that You take them out of the world, but that you keep them IN the world, and protect them from the evil one." This clearly states that God intends us to keep us here, NOT remove us from the earth before the tribulation. Not convinced yet? here's another. Acts chapter 3:21. "Jesus must remain in heaven until the Father is ready to restore all things. Sorry, but we are NOT getting out of here early.

@Musicman81Indy - there are many verses that can be given as proof for both sides: Rev. 3:10 'Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.1 Thess. 5:9 - For God has not destined us for wrath... - J A Show Staff
