Let's get things straight, I agree with you on windows and mac...

But I am a huge fan of linux and you do not get why linux is so great.... It's not a useless system that you can just download things, and that people are too cheapp, man where do you get your understanding of linux????

Dude you need to go to google and type in the following keyword: OPEN SOURCE, and OPEN SOURCE Benefits, once you research maybe you will gain a better understanding... Good luck dude@!

Ok first off I agree with you on linux being some what like mac.. I would be careful however how far you compare the 2....  I will admit since the whole mac and intel thing, mac os have become more like unix look and feel.... Now 1 thing windows 7 does not take 10 minutes to boot, that is because you probably had a older computer.... Anyways good luck with linux, I hope you love it man, it's so cool to have a free os... cheers...

hoa they must be behind the time because modern *nix operatig systems shouldn't require much more than 2gb of swap un less you plan to edit images in gimp or render 2d/3d models in inkscape.
