  • @PiercingKnight Check out my AGM batteries on my channel. They recharge faster than flooded batteries and they can cycle out 300 times or last for 10 or 12 years if you don't let them get below 12.2 volts or 24 volts in my case. I don't ever have to clean my cables or post because they are sealed and I don't have to add any water either. So they stay perfectly clean. Check out my channel for how to make solar panels and everything about DIY solar system my channel's name is "shartne".

  • Anyone can give me an advice on what battery to choose? If I have a 144 Watt panel what capacity battery should I choose? Let's say that I want to store all day's energy. What if I wanted to store energy from two days? I don't know much about batteries, and how to understand those units (amps, or amp hours), can someone explain the math to me. Help would be greatly appreciated.

    P.S. Panel 36 Multi-Cryatalline Silicon 6x6 cells, 18v, 8amps.

  • @seobro Car batteries will last abt. 100 cycles, dual purpose marine deep cycle batteries will do abt.300 cycles(1 year if cycled every day). True deep cycle batteries will do abt. 1500 cycles and can be discharged deeper than the others without damage and will last around 5 years if maintained properly. Greetings from sunny Jamaica.

  • leave England mate.

    and no, not for Oz.

  • How many cycles do you get? My batts are "cooked" after 200 cycles.

  • How come they have cool looking batteries overseas and plan black in US?

  • I appreciate what you are doing. please how can this help a common man to go green and not break the bank.

How much is the whole component going to cost?

  • whats up man...glad to see your moving...we need to get on ..STICKAM>COM we'll have to work on a time...my system is coming along great...hope your doing great...check out some of my newer vids..take care ..talk to you soon
