Ok...back to issues that concern all of us in the long term!
Whether our abundant life-styles as 'average' American consumers are worth saving, at ANY cost, remains a matter of debate. Nobody really seems to question it, because we are USED to these life-styles, basically from birth. So, it all seems very 'normal' to us. But what is considered as 'normal' here, is not considered as 'normal' across the globe, in fact, it is viewed as indulgence and self-serving at the expense of others. No, question, there is much allure and adventurism involved, for those who seek to better their living conditions. But when everything is based on credit and endless consumption, the overall method becomes simply unsustainable in the long run. Resources are finite, clean water is becoming scarce, and most people on this planet - barely make ends meet to feed themselves and their families. Technology and innovation is great, but it is also misused for political purposes and power games - regardless of its intrinsic potential benefits. Humans are curious by nature, and this is not a bad thing. But we must be forever vigilant, so that the various power players at hand, do not gain complete control over it.

  • Ignorance and stupidity are very bad things. We here in Europe have to vote on the 4th of june for the European Union. Here in Holland we have a new Dutch party that says that the Islam has to be forbidden and the Koran burned. Do you know they are ranked to be the biggest party of our country right now? Geert Wilders and his PVV are the biggest in polls just by screaming that muslims are stupid and may not wear a haircloth. Right wingers are growing by the numbers. It scares the hell out of me.

  • It scares the hell out of me, too ! Because this type of reactionary response is very powerful and very persuasive in terms of finding scapegoats all around. And anyone who opposes this, will either be vilified or sidelined. My opposition to all this comes from a standpoint of tolerance...not vilification of anyone. I have no problem with Islam, as long as I am not required to follow this doctrine. Most people, the world over, are NOT extremists, and they just want to get along with others.

  • People's History of the United States, by Howard Zinn, can be had for about $13 on Amazon. One of the best books I've ever read.

    Excellent video: watch?v=Arn3lF5XSUg

  • Z300a: no, actually you can buy it for less than

$ 1.00 now, on Amazon. So there is no excuse anymore, for not reading it. When I first came across it, about 15 years ago...I don't know how to describe this, but it was a major event. Zinn makes no excuses for any atrocities committed by either side, but after this, you will think very differently about official history versus actual events. Every American and every European should read this book.

  • I always enjoy listening to you.

I like the way you explain things. I seem to be on the same page with you on about 95 percent of what you say-if not 100%.

Thanks for creating so many great videos!

  • It's funny the common folk on the right think the Obama Administration/Congress is practicaly communist, Leftsit think the same group is Middle Right heading towards Facsism.

Your right though we no have power and never have, except for one thorn in their paws & that is the internet. I know it works both ways with Proganda, but it still is a remarkble tool that might accomplish something.

I think we should also start nameing these Global elites, the "they" may be too vague to some.

    Great vid

  • I don't have a TV but I know what you are talking about. I have seen some bloodshed vids here on YT. I don't believe that Japan kills them for research. Whaling is very crewl. Whales are ancient and mankind has killed all mammoths before. There is nothing intelligent about a species that is responsible for extinction of another species. Not even animals kill all of their prey. Japanese say that whales eat fish but that's what they are told to believe. Whales eat only krill. algue and plankton.

  • Thanks for sharing your heart with me Snuilp. What do you think about those ongoing 'Whale Wars' episodes on TV? Kinds vicious heh?

  • If it's anything like reading 'Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee: An Indian History of the American West' it'll make for depressing reading.

Being a European it makes me want to cry at the legacy we've left the world. We really have left it a brutalized place.

  • New age of global slavery? I'd argue it's the new age of global tyranny, and the age of Orwellian 1984. Just because it's not as obvious as in the book, it doesn't mean it isn't happening.

  • I know all about it. Once I wanted to be a Wicca but I disliked the diciplines lol. I know about a lot of herbs to cure you though. I like whales and dolphins a lot. They never meant any harm. Dolphins even rescued people, while some people still catch them in their silly fishingnets. I am a member of Greenpeace, but I'm not a strict veggie. Sometimes I eat meat or fish, mostly when I really want it. ;)

It's about 4:30 in the morning here now but I faved this vid to talk later. Hope to Cya! :D

  • So are you affiliated with Wicca? The Green movement like Green Peace?
