@razerdave could u upload a diagram on fb and were any speed controllers used?
-
@MicroGravity100 ....I do :) I'm pretty much a part of the RR crew, I take this arena to events all the time

Great Arena! you should bring it to Roaming Robots events!

@x19710 The arena only cost me about £15 for nuts and bolts, switches for the control box and that liniear actuator on the pit, the rest was begged borrowed given or stolen
PS: I don't condone stealing, just an expression :)

How did you do the electricals and stuff?

@TheTeamMental
For the flipper, its just a small relay that I put 12v into to fire (its spring return). I click the switch which connects the relay to the power.
the pit is done on a 3-position switch, 1 side puts power through the actuator motor one way, click the other way, it sends it the other, middle is neutral. message me if you want a diagram.

@niIIer1
At the point of building I was trying to do it on the cheap. I have a new arena now and it will be more powerful on that one.

@niIIer1
Yay, a new country to convert to antweights :) Come and join the UK antweight builders on the Robot Wars 101 forum.
I look forward to seeing your robot, and thanks for the kind comment :)
