@rachelface927 It is a tough thing for sure to leave your friends & loved ones behind.
To be cramped up in a tiny room on a ship with 40 other Marines and temps reaching 138 degrees F on deck during the day. The smell of sweat, vomit & JP5 filling your nostrils for months at a time, and there are some in this country who think our servicemembers are overpaid LOL Semper Fi

This is out to every single troop out there. We love you all and what you are doing to help protect our freedom. Freedom is not free. It comes at a huge price, none of you had to pay that price but you did anyways. Everyone thanks you for what you are doing. It makes me feel good in the morning and at night knowing that we have great people out there fighting for us. R.I.P all the lost soldiers. And farewell to them. this video absolutely breaks my heart.
i cannot imagine what it's like, going to war - but i do know how it feels - wondering every second of every day if the one you love with all your heart is safe, feeling selfish for feeling lonely without them, knowing they are just as lonely and stressed... it is one of the worst ordeals to go through... my heart goes out to all those serving in the military, as well as to their significan others/spouses, children, parents, siblings, etc.
