Heck I forgot to mention the plight of the Australian aborginals until I saw the tom selleck that I think was quigly down under movie that the natives of that country faced a similar tupe fate as the native americans did.

In the region that I live in there is the Nooksack tribe and the bigger Lummi nation and a lot of people could have rights both in the United States and Canada because of the native land land got split up between WA state and Canada. I do have some native american blood in my viens, but mother was brain washed becuase of fear that people would shun you for becuase of your ancestory. It is ironic, that decades ago that people started to claim that they part cherroke for a status synbol

we love this music in small town Toronto Canada! Smaller cities and "unurban" cities prefer this music other than pop music which is disgusting,

the truth acceptable term is the "first nations" .i'm white and lived with the first nations in saskatchewan and the first nation population is rapidly growing.

'First Nations' is a regional term used in Canada. Other terms such as 'aboriginal' as evidenced by the aboriginal awards and festivals and even 'native indian' are still used by many native people. so it is 'policy' for us to use all terms for all of our various online projects such as videos, articles and websites.
