STS soooo much better, glasspacks are too quiet for a vette with sidepipes, its gatta have some balls when you rev it.

No, actually I just removed them all together, lol. I 'was' going to start out by drilling a hole but I didn't feel like pulling them in/out and drilling over, however, I wish I had so I could of got videos of the sound difference between the diff. hole sizes.

Sounds great, I just got a pair for my 81 505. I am going to drill 7/8th holes in them and see if my neighbors call the cops :) I was told the caps are just freeze out plugs so easy to change.

Yeah they are freeze plugs with 4 tack welds holding them on, no big deal. If your going 7/8th you'll probably be tempted to just remove them all together. =)
With the cap completely removed I don't think they are 'that' loud at idle, but get pretty loud when you get on it.
