i love this song. its about a love definately. she's confused and lsot and people are trying to break her of her own sense of wrong and right and her need of only herself. she tries to fight them off but its like a POW (Prisoner Of War) and he shows up and tries to show her a right balance and goodness. he shows her his love and he's there to comfort her when she feels like breaking down.

A few years ago, this song meant something very different for me. It was always about a very passionate love for someone, willing to jump in the middle of chaos to protect them. Now, I am a Christian, and I think of God being the one saving me from the inevitable chaos of the world. I think either way it's a pretty fantastic piece and definitely in the running for favorite Fray song ever.
