This race was SO boring. I am very sad in the 2008 Nascar season. Daytona 500 was a little boring, so was california,las vagas. Ive notice that all the odd years have been exciteing(2003-Newman flips,,2003-Sadler flips,,2005-Both Waltrip & Riggs & Wimmer all fliped) And the even seasons were boring and non-exciting. I really want something cool to happen in the next few races, Bristol. I love nascar but not very happy on the racing. Maybe the COT could be the problem?.

No, bristol isnt an exciting track anymore. they totally SCREWED that track with the new banking. 32 of the 36 races this year will suck

he would of walked away in the old car too so WTF are you talking about? if micheal mcdowell did the same thing in the old car he had the same results no injuries.....the HANS device and the safer barriers are the main part of the safety not the car thats bullshit...they try to use safety ass a excuse for making such a shitty car.

@nascarsignore I agree with you. Nobody has to flip over to make the race exciting. I Love the close racing, 3-4 wide racing, bumping, scraping paint is all what Nascar is about from past history to present. I referenced the fips for people to know the years I was talking bout. Like, Oh yeah, the year that Waltrip flipped, that was a good year from begining to end of the season.

@joe24chevy just because someone flips doesnt mean that racing isnt exciting. 2004 was a great year for me. had some great races. and so did 2001.

You can say that the race was good ,but if you go back and watch earnhardt and terry labonte racing you can't beat that. That one race where Labonte came to victory lane with his front end beat up was awesome. I don't think you will see races like that at bristol with the cot.

I think that both (car & Hanns) played a role in Michael's surviving the crash. Although...If Dale Sr. wouldn't have died, would nascar even made the move to change to a bigger and safer car? Yeah, nascar thought about changing but would they have change the car but if only something BIG happened would it make them open there eyes.
