Chalet Academy cookery and chalet host school in Chamonix

This is a short film about our course at Chalet Academy in Chamonix run by chef Simon Sutcliffe for wannabe chalet hosts wishing to spend a season as chalet hosts in the Alps and are in need of a training course to set them off on the right foot. On the course we focus mainly on chalet cookery and menu design but also cover the secrets of good service and overall chalet host duties. We also cover the CIEH level 2 in food hygiene, a qualification recognised Europe wide. To date all our students seeking jobs have found employment within the industry and we work closely with the leading winter tour operators to help find them suitable positions. We have even had guys attending our courses simply for a fully inclusive holiday with expert cookery tuition throughout, as not only does it represent fantastic value for money but we definately enjoy ourselves on the course too.
